Parks-Bentley says "THANK YOU!
The Historical Society of Moreau and South Glens Falls and its headquarters - Parks-Bentley Place - are 100 percent volunteer-operated. We are able to provide tours and educational programs through the dedicated assistance of these volunteers and the generous donations and grants from many governmental and community funding sources.

We are so appreciative of the time, effort, and financial support we receive that we wanted to set aside a special web page to express our thanks.
In addition to providing grants to several of our educational programs each year, Stewart's Shops has kindly provided Parks-Bentley Place with additional revenue this year to help us with expenses as we remain closed because of the Corona virus.
Ongoing sponsors of Parks-Bentley Place and the Historical Society, both the Town of Moreau and the Village of South Glens Falls provide funding for the ongoing maintenance of our historic property and for educational programs throughout the year.
in 2020, Parks-Bentley Place was proud to install a new lawn sign funded by the William G. Pomeroy Foundation. Their generous grant allows us to proclaim to visitors and passersby that our wonderful house is on the National Historic Register.
Each year, our team of dedicated volunteers help us continue the work of preserving the history of our town and village. This loyal team makes it possible for us to share the Parks-Bentley treasures with our visitors and bring history to life for young and old through on- and off-site educational programming.
